The amount of money that any single billionaire gives to any politician is directly proportional...

To that politician's unsuitability for public office.

The greater the amount of money donates, the more unsuitability of that politician.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

...it's not directly proportional. It's an square law, at least, but it also has an asymptote as the quantity of money approaches that of "all the money on the planet", where the unsuitability approaches infinity.
