I'll be voting for President Barack Obama (Original Post) 99th_Monkey Jan 2012 OP
I'm sure you'll find the perfect human being to vote for, so don't worry lunatica Jan 2012 #1

I know we'd both like it not to be so fucking ugly, but there it is.

And I don't for the life of me know why "FREE DON SIEGELMAN NOW"
isn't on the lips of every Democrat, and plastered on posters
everywhere Obama goes to meet with Democrats.

Don S. was the absolute DARLING of DU2, when Shrub was in office;
but then, I guess this isn't DU2 anymore, is it?

This really pisses me off, this double standard... where as soon as
Obama is elected, and even 3 years later, Obama supporters are
like "Don who?" ... while this man still sits in prison because the
Democratic President can't find the balls to pardon him ...
this hypocrisy stinks to high heaven.

and free him right?

Your cause is a good one, but you're stated actions are totally counter productive since you're willfully ignoring every other thing of interest to our well being in order to stay true to your one issue. Your message on this thread is if Siegelman isn't freed then to hell with the future of this country. Just give up and let the Republicans win. Especially today's teabag party Republicans. Surely they'll be better for the country. And I'm sure Siegelman will be instantly set free by the likes of Romney or Newt or whoever gets the Republican nomination.

I seriously doubt you'll get your demands met by any teabagger.

edited to add the last sentence and the sarcasm gif.

I never said I WOULDN'T vote for Obama,
or that I don't intend to vote for Obama.

On the contrary, my OP said that "I will be voting for Obama"

and just hope I don't have to hold my nose
so tight as to totally forget about this honorable
man named Mr. Siegelman who was taken out by
KKKarl Rove, Bush, et. al. and who STILL SITS
IN A PRISON CELL!!!!!!!

You must not think very highly of yourself if you think you're going to forget Siegelman so easily based on whether you vote or not.

I actually DO think highly enough of myself so as to make a point of publicly reminding myself to remember Mr. Siegelman,
with a little help from my DU friends.

Please note that I'm not returning your insult with more of the same.
