OH. MAH. GAWD. Romney attempts to sing "America the Beautiful"!

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/election-2012/post/mitt-romney-sings-america-the-beautiful/2012/01/30/gIQAgzCadQ_blog.html

Simon Cowell...where are you when we need you?

You know, he can try to deny it for the next thousand years, but I'm willing to bet $10,000 that this was an incredibly blatant attempt to rip off Obama's Al Green rendition of a couple of weeks back.

I nearly drove off the road this morning when NPR played this clip as part of their report on the campaign - the very definition of EPIC FAIL!

I imagine right about not he'd do anything if he thought it would bring him some votes.

a paper cutout, his flip-flopping has made him unworthy of being on the stage. I do not fear him--I fear the ones voting for him. Because they listen to every word that comes out of his programmed mouth.

Something between speaking and singing.

Maybe Romney could team up with John Ashcroft for a duet of "Let the Eagle Soar?"

he didn't have the good sense to stop at the first few words either.
My pet border collie mix can sing a better tune when my cell phone is ringing and I cant' hear it. She'll belts one out getting my attention and I guarantee you it is better sang than that romney thing was. What a stupid bastard with a lot of money. Look no further than the families pet's vacation to know what I'm talking about. Stupid cannot be fixed either. You stupid you'll be stupid. He's stupid. The last thing we need is a stupid pResident once more in such short time, w about down us in.

That was godawful.

There seems to be something oddly goofy about Mitt Romney. He's just--well--not normal. I sing pretty badly too and the only way I'd belt out anything, especially God Bless America, especially if I knew it was going to be all over the Internet in a heartbeat and probably be featured in an opponant's attack add, would be if I was seriously, totally, hammered.

What's Mitt's excuse.

Seriously EPIC FAIL is a euphemism for this awful rendition.

the exact rhythm that the song was written in-he didn't hold one note a second shorter or longer than the song's original melody. He added NOTHING HUMAN to it. It was terrible.
