I have received all the other documents I need already. I like to get my taxes over and done with quickly. BTW, I've used Turbo Tax for years and find it super easy.

I pay a fee but it's worth having the peace of mind in case I ever get audited.

I have it in my contract to have all tax forms sent to me by January 15. They have been very good about it.

I received a bonus back in May or June to extend the contract another two years. I kinda looked around their website the other day. I suspect if I was receiving regular royalties I could get it online, but this was a one-time payment deal. I do know they have my correct address on file.

Should be here tomorrow.

And I agree that the money could not come at a better time.

My vet bill last week was $500 and that blew my budget for the month (still trying to pay off ambulance and hospital bill from October heart attack I had).

Unfortunately, I worked for a very cold-hearted couple of creeps last year and even though they only have 6 employees, they haven't managed to mail w-2s YET.

My other friend and I knew they'd wait til the last minute, because that's the kind of entitled, greedy, evil people they are. Maybe they'll actually comply with the law and mail them today, laughing to themselves that they "stuck it to" a couple of poor people.

This is what the 1% job creators do at Sewanee...make life miserable for the working class. It's their favorite sport. There's no sense calling them; they'd only get the satisfaction of knowing they hurt somebody.

Cruel people really suck. Sewanee is full of them.

A couple different places. There is a manufacturing plant in Jackson County i used to visit 2 or 3 times a year for well over a decade.

Everyone else who went there stayed in Gwinnet, but i thought where i stayed was way more convenient.

Are you a native of there, or a transplant? My old soundman lives in Lawrenceville, but obviously he's not originally from there.

I'm speaking of the Theocracy of the South in TN, where the poor locals all say the "South won." They don't play by the same rules as the rest of us.

It's spelled "Sewanee" rather than "Suwanee" and it's chock full of the entitled, the 1%, the drunk wealthy and the abusers of the working class.

"Animosity of the South" or "Evil Entity of the South" are also common names for the University of the South. They prey on the disadvantaged for sport, being the coddled, bored pricks with more money than compassion or common sense that they are.

Ooops. Guess that wasn't very nice of me. They DO exercise with pew aerobics on Sunday, then the rest of the week they gossip, get drunk and think up new ways to harrass and disparage the poor Appalachians at their UNmercy.

Easy to get them confused

My income is now solely social security and is not taxable. When I was working, I always had to pay. It is a relief to not to have to worry about the April 15 deadline.

I'm waiting on a 1099-B from Vanguard. I'm also trying to decide between filing as-is or recharacterizing a Roth Conversion before I file.

It only took about four hours using Turbo Tax. I'm pretty pleased with that. The part that annoyed me was how difficult it was to establish that I didn't owe late payment penalties because I did my Roth conversion in December and sent the treasury a big check at the end of the year to cover it. I had to calculate my AGI and tax payments by quarter to show that I paid what I should when I was supposed to.

must be from the late 80's. We recognize it in sitcoms from the 80's and 90's. I don't think they make almond-colored appliances anymore.
