Why are the MSM ridiculing Biden for advising Obama not to authorize strike to kill bin Laden?
The president asked for Joe Biden's advice as to whether to authorize the SEAL Team 6 operation to kill Osama Bin Laden. Biden saw only a downside and said "no go". Obama thanked him, walked out of the room and said he would announce his decision (which we now know was to do it). Now Republicans and the MSM are making an issue. Why? Joe gave his honest opinion. Obama weighed it along with everyone else and made the call. That is a White House that knows how to function, not one that is in disarray.

6. The Republicans were saying that Obama was "leading from behind"
So Biden took the heat just to show that the President made up his own mind about the courageous decision....
Good job, Joe... |

9. yep
I think you nailed it.
Or, they just have an unquenchable need to criticize EVERYTHING that this administration does, even if they would have agreed with the same actions if they had been undertaken by a Republican. |

Last edited Tue Jan 31, 2012, 03:47 PM - Edit history (1) The Republican M.O. has essentially been to criticize anything and everything Obama has done even if it was the same identical thing that any (Republican) POTUS would have done in the exact same situation- and would have likewise been applauded had it been a Republican POTUS. As we have seen there is virtually NOTHING that Obama can do that the Republicans are above (or below) criticizing for partisan gain. It's gotten so ridiculous that I'm frankly surprised anybody takes them seriously anymore. It's like they they are so bereft of ideas and means of attacking Obama that they are reduced to trivial, nonsensical non-issues. I'm sure that many of them are depressed that they can't "Whitewater" or "Lewinsky" Obama to death like they did Clinton.

8. Because the MSM doesn't trust the Constitution either?
![]() It's nothing but a quaint old document that's of little more than historical curiosity anymore. Preserving, protecting and defending it isn't really in anyone's pay grade. Better to just point and laugh at fuddy-duddies who still believe in it. |

13. Because they don't understand that is what leaders do, they ask for opinions from all sides,
then after careful deliberation, make a final decision.
