two great things about the new pope
1) he's used to being completely ignored and humiliated by the civil authorities in his country!!!!
2) he seems to somewhat believe that the church should be serving the poor rather than lording it over them

1. being as the church is obscenely wealthy, will he sell the vatican art and use the funds to
do anything to help "poor" people?

7. And if the poor don't CHOOSE birth control, they don't deserve help? If I find myself working on a
community service project, shoulder to shoulder, with someone who meets my personal criteria for being anti-fascist and, yet, whom I know is an advocate for CHOICE, even when that choice is to have a baby that I'd never bring into this world, what should I do?
