1. I wonder if people foolishly tell themselves these things will never happen again?

Once you know what you can get away with, why not go bigger next time?

It's not as if anyone is going to do anything about it.

2. Without Justice its all

Hubris and the moral justification of any act on the international stage is hypocrisy until we pay for our deeds by putting these people on trial for war crimes.

Now any nation can invade, torture and imprison without social international. impunity


I don't like the delusion after 10 years.

3. The US puts out its annual report on human rights this month.

On how other countries torture, engage in indefinite detention, prison conditions, etc..

I can't think of that report anymore without thinking "Hypocrites". It's all I thought of the report for years now.

4. My wife's grandfather died in concentration camp

For being a communist.

HIs son was recongized as a hero for risking his life in the resistance fighting fascism by his nation.


My father, was stationed in the Asian theater.

He got the silver cross.






I hate liars.

WWII is not over as is the Civil War.

History knows this.
