Or the Secretary of State that said the war was wrong?

Unless you think nothing has happened since 2003?

Mon Mar 25, 2013, 12:29 PM

That would be statements made by Clinton after 2009, and by Kerry after 2013. Which, of course, would be contrary to the position held by their boss.

Somehow I missed that headline.

Also remember: THEY WERE LIED TO by the previous regime in Washington. Are they now responsible for Bush's lies?

"What about the ones who became Secretary of State under Obama?"

Which one?

"The one that said it was right, and also the one that said it was right."

The fact is no Secretary of State under Obama has said that the Iraq War was right. SENATOR Clinton and SENATOR Kerry did support the war - along with 60% of the public - while the Bush Regime was lying to them and the world about the reasons for it. They both changed their position - along with the rest of the country - once the facts about those lies came to light. That's what has happened since 2003, which you oh-so-carefully ignore.

So let's not talk about tossing Sec. Clinton and Sec. Kerry in jail unless you're going to make room for 90 million other Americans.

Hagel, a Republican Yes voter, is going to set a record. 16 years of Republican rule at DOD. And he showed very poor judgement when it counted.
23 Senators voted NO, they were correct and they have been shunned for excellent discernment while the wrong, the mediocre and the self serving have been handed the keys to the next war.
Among other things, it is a crappy lesson to teach our young people. Irresponsible and reckless.

That Sen.s Clinton and Kerry were as well informed as the general population.

One would believe, at their level of clearance, that they would have access to much more relevant information at their disposal. Kinda' changes the decision making process, or at least the means of arriving at one.

Politics and popularity come into play. No one is innocent here.

Kerry and Clinton only came out against the war they both voted for during their respective runs at the presidency. Kind of like felons who find Jesus in prison.
