Anyone else starting to get the feeling that Issa is the AP leaker?

Or that they have something else on him? Holder calling him shameful, Pickering not meeting with him privately only agrees to public. They all seem to be confidently screwing with him.

Issa is always so zealous about getting his spin out first for ANY story. He's a Bushie through and through, and I have no doubt he took his zealousness a step beyond in this case.

but I'm betting on someone a lot dumber who's laughingly on the Intelligence Panel.

Michelle Bachmann

Issa is a bottom feeding asshole but he's not stupid enough to leak information that could come back and bite him in the ass.

12. My bets on Bachmann

She is on the Intel Committee, but I think it was a group effort with all of them going in on it. When it comes out that she leaked it they are all going to attempt to dump it all on her try to use her lack of credibility against her. The good news is the GOP/TP has no sense of solidarity so once she sees they are leaving her out to dry she will start dropping names.

35. While I could see Shelly do something so stupid and reckless...

...who for the love of all that is holy would ever put stock into a damn thing that comes out of her mouth, apart from the dumbass teatards in her district? Certainly someone with a modicum of intelligence would have to think twice about using her as a source. Moreover, she is so devoid of grey matter she is incapable of retaining anything that is factual or substantial. So even if she wanted to "leak" something, its likely only gibberish would fall from her lips and it most certainly would end with the word "Obamacare".

I don't think the entire congress would have known about such an operation...and Issa's committees don't seem to be the type that would get this info either.

It might be someone close to the person who had first-hand knowledge.

It could be a bureaucrat somewhere, some low level person, such as a secretary in someone's office who overhead something she wasn't supposed to hear.

37. Oh, no. Jason Chaffetz.

Early life and education

Chaffetz was born in Los Gatos, California and raised in Arizona and Colorado with his younger brother Alex. His father had a Jewish upbringing and his mother was a Christian Scientist.[1] Chaffetz converted to Mormonism during his last year of college.[2] He attended Brigham Young University (BYU) on an athletic scholarship, and was the starting placekicker on the BYU football team in 1988 and 1989. He still holds the BYU individual records for most extra points attempted in a game, most extra points made in a game, and most consecutive extra points made in a game.[3]

I'm amused that so few seem to understand the depths of this man's corruption. He's been like this for years and years. He is the richest member of Congress. Probably the only one ever arrested for having an unregistered handgun in his car as he drove the wrong way on a one way street a few months after being indicted by a grand jury for stealing a Maserati.

to get arrested for having an unregistered handgun in his car as he was driving the wrong way on 1-way street after being indicted for theft of a Maserati. And isn't this the same guy whose fingers were all in Fast and Furious? Sure, he did manage to make it out unscathed, bit some news organizations did print the truth about it. And Holder just might be out for blood now.

"the only one ever arrested for having an unregistered handgun in his car as he drove the wrong way on a one way street a few months after being indicted by a grand jury for stealing a Maserati."

Those words should be spread far and wide. He is, and always was, a sleazy crook. The press gives him a pass over and over.

It's disgusting. Issa is a holier-than-thou criminal.

Anyway, I will not discard it until after I have called every witness and every person who ever looked at any of the documents concerning Issa's contacts with AP and questioned them several times and established what I want to think I know.

Which is -- That I Am RIGHT; that I Am Always RIGHT even when I Am WRONG. (sarcasm)

That's the Issa way. Isn't it?

32. Classic Rovian modus operandi...

If that's the case?
2001 -2008

Karl Rove calls up reporter, says a bunch of lies. says he wants all quotes as "anonymous" or said reporter will never gets access to White House again.

reporter prints lies, credits anonymous sources.

Dick Cheney makes the rounds of the Sunday morning news shows. says same lies, and adds, "If you don't believe me, this was also reported in the Washington Post." then cites the lies Rove said to reporter.

rinse, repeat...

38. More on Jason Chaffetz, who's a definite possibility:

He has inserted himself into Benghazi. And we know that Romney got tipped off sooner than he should have that night, went on live TV with a prepared speech. About Chaffetz, head of Homeland Security committee in the House, from Utah, from Wiki:

Benghazi Attack
Chaffetz has been outspoken against the White House and State Department’s handling of the attacks on the Libyan Embassy. The Administration first stated the attacks were sparked by a spontaneous protest, then later stated the violence was a planned terrorist attack. "There was a very conscious decision made, I believe — my personal opinion is that they wanted the appearance of 'normalization' there in Libya and building up of an infrastructure, putting up barbed wire on our facility would lead to the wrong impression. Something that this administration didn’t want to have moving forward."[48]
He has criticized UN Ambassador’s Susan Rice’s initial comments calling them “somewhere between an outrageous lie and total falsehood.”[48]
Chaffetz himself has been criticized for politicizing the Benghazi incident, acknowledging in an interview with CNN anchor Soledad O'Brien that he had "voted to cut the funding for embassy security" and that House Republicans had consciously voted to reduce the funds allocated to the State Department for embassy security since winning the majority in 2010. "Absolutely," Chaffetz said. "Look we have to make priorities and choices in this country."[49]

40. YQW.

I have a sick feeling that the Benghazi thing and the AP leak thing are related. Because Benghazi wasn't a spontaneous attack. It was planned ahead of time. It was a CIA station so it was a CIA leak like the AP leak was.

One was designed to do away with warnings we were getting about one Al Qaeda group's plans. Another was to leak information so another group could successfully attack the consulate, or CIA safe house, exactly when the ambassador would be there.

The Romney/Republicans' contention is that Obama's whole campaign was won because he said he defeated Al Qaeda and killed Bin Laden. (That's not true, just their notion.) So, that is exactly what they would hit, isn't it? They would weaken his strength and create a terrorist event. (They being whoever they are.)
