Fahrenheit 911 was on television tonight.

When the movie first came out there was so much information in it about how toxic the Bush Family and Administration was that it almost was impossible to comprehend or remember it all. The thing however that still upsets me the most which I entirely forgot, was the House of Representative’s Black Caucus trying to overturn the election due to the disfranchisement of the black voters in the U.S.

Discussions were not allowed since there needed to be one U.S. Senator to sign off on the effort to overturn.

Not one Democratic Senator at the time was willing to do so... It was truly sad to re watch this part.

Starts around 2:40..

Is Bush's face when they interrupted his reading to the children to tell him of the attack. I know that look. The look of a pretender. A liar, a cheat, a crook, who knows he's done bad wrong, wondering if his facee gives himself away, and it does.

God bless you, Florida!

Totally masterful opening, right up through the candid off-air shots of the leading BushCo crime players and that beautiful guitar music (which I've never been able to identify) that leads into 9/11. It's the best thing Michael will ever do as a film maker.

Only a few short months later Bush was signing his tax cuts for the rich. Something we would argue about for the next decade+ and "democrats" would make permanent.

the movie when it first came out. What I remember is the hatred and disgust on people faces as we were walking out of the theater.
