I have even figured out how to hook up Myplex...ie...the queue

(1,967 posts)with that you just have to sign in. For the server. You have to download the server software for you computer. It streams from you computer server. With the server you have to go to settings myplex tab. It should automatically connect. If not. you have to enable qos on your router. Many people disable this. If that doesn't work you have to open a port on your router and specify it under myplex.

(11,862 posts)needs to be manually connected, and a PIN # used, by going into the cog wheel under the Plex menu and press the Connect button THEN you get a PIN # which you then go back to myplexapp.com/pin or something like that

(11,862 posts)I have a set top box called Roku ($70.00 not per month-ONCE) and by adding Plex (FREE) to my channel I can now watch any video on YouTube, and any movies I have on my hard drive or even extension drive, on my television,
The only thing that costs me monthly is my subscription to Netflix ($7.99) and HuluPlus ($7.99) I get Amazon Premium but I pay annually which also allows for free 2 day shipping on MOST items
