Who will Gov. Christie name to Senate?

Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ) will name an interim replacement for Sen. Lautenberg to serve until an election is held.

Any guess what he will do and why?

For a special election.

You realize this issue has been with our State Gov and it was brought up again after Kennedy died? IIRC - our House and Senate did nothing with it - in spite of the fact that Christie said if they sent it to him (elections only in the event of one of our Fed Rep's deaths) - he would sign off on it.

I want a special election toute suite. The sooner the better.

But - if I were to guess - he won't be appointing anyone that is not either Priebus or Rove approved. That does not bode well for us.
