Chris Christie and Michelle Obama, why are they treated differently ?

Christie is always yelling at hecklers and anyone else. he is loud, rude , offensive etc. and yet he is considered presidential material.

but why the fake controversy over michelle Obama ?

and Christie is actually an elected official unlike Michelle Obama.

dumbass erin burnett showed Michelle rolling her eyes at boehner as what she sees as other evidence or pattern of something.

She has to be perfect, sweet, accommodating, and most of all, non-threatening and not angry and scary, or else. Chris Christie gets the positive spin.

Even as tactfully as she handled a disruptor, the disruptor gets to play the "taken aback" card and Michelle gets tagged as a "bully" and "brat".

Handwringing ensues over her being "aggressive".

She needs to be "taught" how to respond properly.

Imagine if she had actually responded the way Chris Christie had. Would people have run for the hills in fear and shock?

According to them, Michelle Obama backhanded the cause of LGBT rights with a pimp slap when she offered Sturtz the mic.

NO contest. Christie's rudeness may fly in New Jersey, but it's going to wear thin when some of his attackers go after him away from home. Just contrasting his own berating of paying for a special election if Lautenberg died in office with what he's saying now about "not caring". He could debate himself and be rude to both of him.

intervene. In Michelle Obama's case, she is protected by the Secret Service and should let her audience silence hecklers. I have seen audiences do that.

As for Chris Christie, he is a Republican and a very rude one at that. And, guess what, I don't like him at all because -- he is a Republican but more important he is rude and crude and insulting to his audiences.

He's white, he's male, he weighs 500 lbs, is belligerent, a conservative Republican and by God he was elected. She's black, a woman, physically fit, kind, a Democrat and is the First Lady of the USA. No comparison between the two. She wins, hands down.

To Hell with Erin Burnett. She's one of those jealous women-hating women. Don't watch her!

because she is not a man. Secondly, because she is not Caucasian. Plain and simple.

All women are supposed to be nice all the time. This goes exponentially for all women of color.

all these things do is helping Jeb Bush as it is attempting to bring things down to levels the Bush family loves.
like it helped Bush41
like it helped W

It doesn't matter what President Obama or his staff, family, friends do.
100% of the time, they are derided from the press and those against them.

We all know why.

Except that the one great thing is, it does NOT hurt President Obama's agenda whatsoever.
Because the President is NOT running for office again.

And in fact, all this hatred against the President will go far to help the next President.

What better way of getting equality than electing Hillary Clinton as the first woman President.

So, all those that are always against the President, and always against Hillary,
well, I just wonder, do you realize that these things help Hillary so in effect, you are actually
supporting Hillary?
(now, THAT is irony for you).

If these protesters want to do something better, go protest Rand Paul and Ron Paul, and ask
the two of them about equality. Ask Rand/Ron Paul's friends at the John Birch Society about
equality. Yeah, sure, they will help you. Yeah, sure that's the ticket as Jon Lovitz' character on SNL
used to say.

(btw, I never myself like when going to a concert or comedy club, paying money to enter,
to have some heckler ruin the show. I didn't pay to see them. And since the person I went to see
only place a limited amount of time (be it one hour, two hours, three hours), any time spent away
from what was scheduled, is less time to see what I myself came to see.)

Now if the event was billed as a debate, with both listed on the adverts that made me buy the ticket,
and I purchased the ticket knowingly, well, that is a different story.
But it is not.

(and, at the State of the Union, the other side gets a nationally televised rebuttal, last year didn't the republicans have TWO separate ones? Tea and regular?)

Sorry, much as I liked (and thought he won that debate), I myself was 100% uncomfortable with Al Gore walking into W's space and standing there. I never was more uncomfortable than that.
I thought it was bizarre, and rude. To this day I don't understand what debate technique that was.
It certainly didn't help get any new voter to side with Al Gore.
But it just might have gotten someone to switch to Bush.
