Looking for a webmail provider that is not constantly fucking with the inbox format

Yahoo just made it impossible to list all emails, go to the first or last email, and scroll through emails page by page. The new format is utterly useless to me, and they won't let you go back to the old one. Which webmail provider is most likely to minimize this constant bullshit "improvement" nonsense?

Yep, Hotmail is now Outlook only. Everyone had to make the switch - and it sucks. canoeist52 Jun 2013 #12

Not sure how I'd even access it by laptop or other remote machine.

if you have Outlook (or a free client like Thunderbird) you can set it up easily enough following the instructions here: https://support.google.com/mail/troubleshooter/1668960?hl=en

that Hotmail is the one that refrains from such nonsense the best. I hate the constant (and often troublesome) changes, so I keep going back th Hotmail because it doesn't keep yanking the familiar rug out from under me! I have several other email accounts--including two on Gmail, but they all give me trouble--and I don't have time or energy to deal with stupid change for the sake of change redesigns.

Maybe people with old accounts were allowed to keep them?

I'd use a software provider like suggested upthread rather than relying on the email site to satisfy your needs.

I don't believe it. They are one of those companies like Microsoft that fuck with stuff constantly.

It is set up to be private and anonymous but the real benefit is the simple, straight forward interface that doesn't change anywhere near as often as the others.
