Congressional Performance - 6% Think Congress Doing Good or Excellent Job

"SNIP..............................

Positive assessments of Congress’ job performance remain in single digits again this month, and they’re not thrilled with their own representative either.

Only six percent (6%) of Likely U.S. Voters give Congress good or excellent marks for the job it is doing, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. Sixty-four percent (64%) rate its performance as poor. (To see survey question wording, click here.) Those ratings are little changed from April.

I'd have to say given our state of education in WA, I'm not real happy with my local dems either. liberal_at_heart Jun 2013 #3

and another which has no idea of how many votes constitute a majority.

And 5% who donated money and think they're getting what they wanted, but it's only because it happened to be the same as the 1% who paid for it.

I will believe it when Congressional representatives are not being reelected. We keep hearing about how unpopular Congress is, and they they get reelected at an 85% rate when they run for reelection. If only 6% approved of Congress we would have much more "new blood" than we do.

All that this proves is that people conducting the polls are liars, or voters aresponding to them are idiots. Or both.
