Where is the fine line between the "need to know" and exposing all methods used to

assess who is a threat to the security of this country? Although we are finding out about all of the surveillance being used by our security agencies, are we at the same time letting those who would do us harm know how to dodge being revealed? The old Co intel pro methods destroyed ripped privacy. Are we back to those times? I have a lot of questions as, daily, we are bombarded with more and more.
