Colbert on NSA spying: Now we can find out if Lindsay Graham is a lesbian

Thursday night on “The Colbert Report,” host Stephen Colbert delved into revelations that the National Security Agency has been routinely spying on everyday Americans, conducting wholesale data-mining operations by prying into the private communications of users of Apple iChat, Facebook, Verizon phones and other means of communication.

The Fox News crowd has, predictably, decried the surveillance, in spite of the fact that seven years ago, they were defending the Bush administration for doing the same thing.

“Yes, the National Security Agency is spying on our phone calls,” said Colbert. “And unlike during the Bush administration, this time it’s the Obama administration.”

...“If you don’t have anything to hide, people should be able to look at anything you’ve got. That’s why I am calling on Senator Lindsay Graham to stop wearing pants. So we can finally, finally lay to rest the disturbing — and I’m sure, unfounded — rumors that he is a middle-aged lesbian.”
