Lee County teacher nominated for Grammy

FORT MYERS, FL -
A Lee County teacher is up for a big honor. Fort Myers High School Music Educator Mark Dahlberg is nominated for a Grammy.

His students already think he may be the best music teacher in the country. Now the Grammy Foundation is considering Dahlberg for a similar title.

"He kind of makes the whole band feel like a family," said incoming Fort Myers High School sophomore Libby O'Connor.

Dahlberg is one of 217 quarter-finalists picked from more than 30,000 nominees for the first ever Music Educator Grammy Award.

To any would be SOP alerters, it may be a local story but the grammy is national and current news. Also I am proud of one of my local teachers.
