My wife got a dollar from the Heritage Foundation!

In the mail today, my wife got a solicitation for donations to Hillsdale College, which is associated with the Heritage Foundation. It cited Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity as being among those who had spoken favorably of the college. For some reason, it included a dollar bill, and kept talking about the picture of Washington on the bill, and the phrase "In God we trust".

We are sending nothing to Hillsdale, and my wife kept the dollar. She spent it on beer.

I'd like to think I would have included that dollar in a donation to Planned Parenthood or NOW PAC but just seeing the names Hannity and Limbaugh would make me think of alcohol first.

3. Clearly they will be protesting themselves for redistributing wealth

The Heritage Foundation proven to be actively participating in wealth redistribution. Who can't love a principled organization like that? Good on your wife for putting it to better use.

...a buck back is kind of insulting. Shouldn't there be at least two or three hundreds in there?
