How The Human Face Might Look In 100,000 Years.

Today: A typical-looking man and woman.

In 20,000 years: Humans have a larger head with a forehead that is subtly too large. A future "communications lens" is represented by the yellow ring around their eyes. These lenses will be the 'Google Glass' of the future.

In 60,000 years: Human beings have even larger heads, larger eyes and pigmented skin. A pronounced superciliary arch makes for a darker area below eyebrows. Miniature bone-conduction devices may be implanted above the ear now to work with communications lenses.

In 100,000 years: The human face is proportioned to the 'golden ratio,' though it features unnervingly large eyes. There is green “eye shine” from the tapetum lucidum, and a more pronounced superciliary arch. A sideways blink of the reintroduced plica semilunaris seen in the light gray areas of the eyes, while miniature bone-conduction devices implanted above the ear work with the communications lenses on the eyes.

or the ones with the bigger heads would die out very quickly.

In addition, brain size doesn't necessarily correlate to higher intelligence, something women have proven ever since we decided to become homo sapiens instead of hominids.

I honestly don't see any purpose for those Grave's Disease eyeballs, either.

The differences we might see in that period of time are differences in the respiratory system brought on by much higher greenhouse gases and changes in the GI system to handle foods we consider inedible now. We might also see dental changes to cope with a high cellulose diet.

I sincerely don't think we have much to worry about in terms of our descendents becoming bug eyed fatheads. We do have to worry about their long term survival on a highly warmed planet.

We don't have to go to laying eggs, and the incubation issues if we want to stay warm blooded.

On the way back to laying eggs, marsupials are a good compromise.

And the abortion debate would be decided in a kangaroo court.

I'd thought of that too. It's why I said "full-term." Can you imagine a teensy human embryo crawling out of its mother and attaching itself to a teat? Freaks me out!

Kangaroo court! Good one!

have to be even more flexible if they were much larger.

Every time I see a sketch of ET aliens that have huge heads and spindly bodies, I think that if they give birth like we do, the aliens in the sketches must be males, or ouch!

So in a 100,000 years we will all have over sized heads and eyes and suffer from early onset liver failure.
I think our evolutionary clock will stop in less than 100 years if we don't open our eyes wide now.
Just saying...

Oh, hell, never mind.
Good luck.

There are four known alien species that have visited earth for thousands of years. As of now, a group of four "tall whites" are living on a US Air Force base in Nevada sharing technology.

That last photo takes on the appearance of a prehistoric "grey" species of alien.

One thing they didn't account for. Future people will be darker. In fact, in world terms, today typical looking people are much darker - if they had taken an average.

People are already moving across the earth and will be able to move more easily, so it will probably settle into one race by 100,000 years, but they'd have darker skin than they do in this figures and dark hair.

If there are going to be any humans left in 100,000 years they'd better evolve to living under water

or we need to get our ass in gear right now to do something about climate change.
