(9,126 posts)How does the BOrG not get this? We're not fighting their hero, we're fighting the power because someday someone we don't like as well--who's not as calm and smooth and handsome perhaps--WILL inherit all this power. What will we do then?

(3,172 posts)I presume McCarthy was a republican. Hoover was another one with their secret files and blackmailing ways. If all this treasure trove of information is good for anything, it should be just as good to find out who the internal conspirators are as the external ones.
I don't think repugs have a monopoly on stupidity or intransigence or disciplinarianism but they are IMHO still the ones we need to watch like hawks and call on their hypocrisy at every available opportunity.
