The petition can be found here: http://act.boldprogressives.org/survey/phone_spying/
From the petition's page:
The Guardian's Glenn Greenwald reports that the government is monitoring millions of Americans through phone and online. This spying is conducted "indiscriminately and in bulk regardless of whether they are suspected of any wrongdoing."
Demand Congress investigate this unacceptable government spying on Americans. Sign the petition:
It's outrageous that the government is monitoring millions of American phone calls and Internet records. Congress must investigate immediately, disclose its findings to the public, and curb the excesses of current law.
Together with our allies, we are delivering over 90,000 signatures to Congress tomorrow. Can you add your voice?

Even though I am sure they agree with the principle of spying on citizens, they will use hearings to distract from everyday business and they will get less done than ever.
I like the concept but dont think it will be productive.

Personally, I think the Church Committee did a lot of good: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Church_Committee

I am still trying to determine if Clapper was under path at the time.
At any rate, Wyden should charge him with contempt.
