Wow.. with two clicks, I got DU back

Well. a little typing and 2 clicks, that is..

After seeing so many threads about the same damned thing, I finally decided to watch the news, and to ignore all the bluster-iffic, hyperbolic stuff of late. The whole NSA stuff will sort itself out, as will the disposition of Snowden..

I went to my account and used the trash can.. "Snowden" and "NSA"..

what a difference..

I can catch up anytime I like, but for now, I am glad to not have to wade through 50 threads , all arguing about stuff we don;t know the half-of yet, and may never truly "know"..

"This expression, transferred to human behavior in the early 1600s, alludes to the belief that ostriches burrow in sand thinking they will not be seen because they cannot see. In fact, however, when they do this, they are consuming sand and gravel to aid their digestive system."

The threads are still "there" anytime I feel the need to look in

and an incessant "circular firing squad" routine from the same people about the same thing , does little to enlighten.

Sometimes, to find the needle, you just need to remove some hay

Today is the 6 month anniversary of Sandy Hook, people could very well lose their food stamps and that debacle in the WI senate yesterday - nobody seems to give a crap about that.

...You're really a privileged, white male NSA operative working for the Chinese ex-military on Blackwater's payroll to spread disinformation about the excessive media attention focused on how the media is ignoring the non-existent top-level security clearances needed by low level high-school musical dropouts with suspect GEDs in order to hack a liberally conservative reporter's computer to uncover new information that is only six years old about the European response to claims that the Patriot Act is legally unconstitutional and allows those from whom we need protection most to protect us from those who are trying to protect us from someone we haven't heard about yet. I'll bet your next post will be that Obama may or may not be a jack-booted, Harvard educated computer whiz posing as Anonymous to trap conservative bloggers posting photographs of some scantily clad, but clearly heartbroken, girl pole dancing.

I'm putting you on ignore so I can keep an eye on you, pal!!!!!

I have had quite enough of an entirely useless, time wasting bunch of scrolling looking for ANYthing of merit to read instead of the garbage taking over this board.

That, along with clicking the little x next to every single stupid animal thread without reading them makes DU actually useful again.
