I Wish

I wish....I wish Dick Cheney were a figment of the imagination. I wish he were the end product of a weekend binge, made all the more real because of a funny tasting brownie I ate at the same time. I wish that the very thought of the man was the result of food poisoning that will get better as soon as I throw up. I wish that he could scream all he wanted, and people wouldn't even hear him. I wish he were a resident of the Twilight Zone, and could never find his way back here again.

He doesn't embody all of what's wrong with them, but quite a bit of it, especially on the military-industrial complex front.
