Female lawmaker in WI seems to think abortion is a fun trend & it's ok to traumatize rape victims.

Wisconsin State Senator Mary Lazich sponsored abortion bill that requires ultrasounds and doctors to describe characteristics of the fetus even if the woman declines it. How do idiots like this get elected??

This bill will require victims of rape to get a transvaginal ultrasound since it will probably be too early in the pregnancy to see anything using a regular one. Do you know what a transvaginal ultrasound is? If not, Check out the link and ask yourself if a rape victim should be subjected to that. And furthermore, should ANY women be subjected to an invasive, embarrassing and unnecessary procedure?

Here's my idea - every female lawmaker who wants this - has to submit.

Every male who wants this - has to have it up his ass.


THEN -they can be the controlling little monsters they so desire to be.



You know who is most likely to need a transvag? A woman trying to coceive. They can see an ectopic at the end of a tube in some cases. They are a beautiful REPRODUCTIVE tool. They in some cases SAVE LIVES.

The fact that these rat bastards are making them into a bad thing is enough for me to demand they have one. Oh and I also want that woman to go through an HSG. Since she knows so god damned much - but obvious not as much (first hand) as me.

My second pregnancy my OB wanted to check for twins which run in my family. It didn't hurt that I recall but was uncomfortable and embarrassing, which I believe is their goal.

I brought it up because I wondered how many people knew what this requirement really involved. Not to mention the additional cost.

Just great. Scene from the near future: Two women speaking confidentially. Sue: When I went to my gyn I had to have a transvaginal ultrasound because ... Jane, shocked, judgmental: Are you getting an abortion?! Sue, taken aback at her friend's reaction: Noooo. My gyn was checking to see if she could find a reason why it's taking me over a year to get pregnant.

I'm with you JustAnotherGen: all the idiots in political office who want to impose this intrusive procedure on women seeking an abortion should be required to submit to it themselves, pretty much as you described.

I had one at perimenopause and it was just another in-office procedure, and with a good female tech on hand, even rather funny. She said: "Look, there's a ripened egg follicle," and since I was 53 at the time I LOLd. Mother Nature will have Her little jokes.

But if I had been raped, it would have been another violation of my body. If I had made up my mind that I needed an abortion, it would have been a violation of my personal autonomy and my body both. It's not a joke.

Oh and cases of abortion can be exempted from the ultrasound if they report to the police. More righting style empathy!
