Putin's demeanor at the press conference today

I rarely have watched Putin live before today, and have only seen still pictures of him for the most part. But as he sat listening to the questions at the press conference today he looked glazed, stunned, or maybe even half asleep, He really had no affect at all. Is that normal for him? Of course, considering the circumstances, one would not expect him to look cheerful. But he didn't look serious, angry, concerned or anything.

President Obama sat right next to him and looked serious. Putin didn't even look engaged. Did anyone else see this? Is this his usual demeanor?

Putin is supplying the Syrian government with military equipment, while the U.S. is contemplating supplying the rebels.
