Boehner: Forget Climate Change, Where Are The Jobs?

So yea John, Where are the jobs!

That was the platform that you all ran on in 2010!!!!

Let's see if I can do the math here. OMG! That was three years ago!

You and your GOP House Cronies have been truculent. You have blocked every attempt that this President has made to create jobs. Then you have the audacity to say it is the Presidents fault.

If I might add, your party's voyeuristic, puerile and uneducated invasion into women's bodies, is down right sick! If you were an everyday citizen walking around, saying what you have, you would have been arrested a long time ago!

You are the party of fail. You have no honor. You are all enemies of the State!

President Obama isn’t expected to unveil his sweeping plan to address climate change until next month, but without having seen the plan himself, House Speaker John Boehner is pretty sure it’s “absolutely crazy.”

“I think this is absolutely crazy,” Boehner said at his weekly press conference. “Why would you want to increase the cost of energy and kill more American jobs at a time when American people are asking, ‘Where are the jobs.’”

Wait, I think I found some here.

A bill that would ban abortions after 20 weeks of pregnancy passed in the House of Representatives on Tuesday, with 228 members voting for it and 196 members voting against it.

No, that’s not it.

Here are the jobs.

(Reuters) – The Republican-controlled U.S. House of Representatives voted to repeal President Barack Obama’s healthcare reform law on Thursday in a symbolic move aimed as much at healing internal Republican rifts as demonstrating dogged party opposition to “Obamacare.”

The 229-195 vote occurred largely along party lines and marked the 37th time the House has voted to repeal or defund the 2010 Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, which is now in the final months before full implementation on January 1.

The Farm Bill And The Limits Of Sanity
By Charles P. Pierce
at 3:15pm

The House voted down the massive Farm Bill today. In all, 62 Republican congresscritters voted against it, largely because they thought $20.5 billion in food stamp cuts was insufficiently cruel to poor people. Here, for example, is Congressman Steve King (R-Hydrophobia), reasoning with his colleagues:
"[W]hen we see the expansion of the dependency class in America, and you add this to the 79 other means-tested welfare programs that we have in the United States ... each time you add another brick to that wall, it's a barrier to people that might go out and succeed," Rep. Steve King said during Wednesday debate.

The Republicans, and noted soprano-singing House Speaker John Boehner, who last saw his balls in October of 2010, have decided that the blame really lies in a reluctance by Democrats to be properly complicit in making poor children hungry enough to pull themselves up by their bootstraps rather than eating them.

The chief Republican vote-counter, Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (Calif.), also blamed Democrats and said the bill could come back to the floor next week, with changes. "We can correct it if [Democrats] are not going to help us," he said after the vote. Republicans had expected Democrats to deliver 40 votes for the bill. But a GOP aide said at the last moment, Agriculture Committee ranking member Collin Peterson (D-Minn.) said they could not produce that many because of pressure from Democratic leaders and the White House, which had threatened to veto the bill over the food stamp cuts.
