(3,744 posts)I doubt I'd buy any more but I certainly wouldn't throw a perfectly good set of pans away.

Hopefully Gordon Ramsay doesn't do something stupid because my wife was wanting some new pans as our cheapy Target ones kept warping. It was like $40 for two

(111,169 posts)but it's directed at bad food and incompetent chefs, not entire groups of people he doesn't know.
You have to make him puke bad seafood in an alley to deserve his very best torrents of profanity.
As for Deen's cookware, she had nothing to do with it but signing an advertising contract for it. Nobody ever checks the name on your cookware when it's full of hot food, anyway.

(1,565 posts)"Some of the former staffers of Gordon Ramsay's Fat Cow restaurant have reached their boiling point.
The controversial British chef and star of TV's "Hell's Kitchen," "MasterChef," "Kitchen Nightmares," and "Hotel Hell" has found himself a part of a new class-action lawsuit, Yahoo! TV has confirmed.
on June 13 by four former hourly employees at Fat Cow, the culinary artist's eatery at the Grove shopping and entertainment complex in Los Angeles, against Gordon Ramsay Los Angeles LP, the Fat Cow LLC, and FCLA LP. The plaintiffs ― Jennifer Becerra, Montinique Dever, Andrea Bourke, and Lauren Benge ― allege that the restaurant stiffed them of minimum hourly wages and overtime pay, failed to provide break times for meals and rest, and didn't pay them in a timely manner, among other violations."

I did not like living in the south. I am glad I left. I don't dislike southerners, I just can't cope with the culture.

Folks should live in my hood where you hear the N word everyday and people call each other 'nigga', 'homey', etc and crank up music that says a lot more than that.

The Straight Story
(48,121 posts)And what it has to do with it (deen): I just find it ironic that people think her having used the word before makes her an awful person (no matter the context she may have used it in) but are perfectly fine with others intentionally degrading people and cheering them on and tuning in to just see that aspect of the show.
We will watch people made fun of and humiliated on the one hand, and on the other get outraged by something we have not seen.
