they'd take all their business away from the ones that show the hang gliders and skiers and talk about how happy we are during shark week. The only time we're particularly happy is when it's an alternative to an unplanned pregnancy and they sure as hell won't show that.

But, to a certain extent, the vaginal region is self-cleansing, as long as the routine vaginal flora are not disrupted, which is what douching will do.

He could have used a better analogy; or just not used a poor one...

Do you really believe that when sharks feed they pay attention to the gender of their meal?

By the way, I'm a guy and I have had a six-inch semicircular scar on my left calf ever since a small sand shark took a liking to me as I was wading out to fish for barracuda in the Florida Keys many years ago. Could it have been the hair on my legs that attracted the beast? Have I been the victim of a sex crime?

Are they implying I'm lying about my gender?

As a woman, am I not allowed to post in the Men's Group?

Don't care if it's a spoof or not...I thought it was funny.

Where are the "lots of women" that find it offensive? I counted 1 that posted. If you do, feel free to post so, although my intention was not to start a war over a tampon ad/spoof on ads.

It was posted on FB by a guy friend and I laughed my ass off.

*gasp!* Men's Group is considered a capital offense or something. I don't post in there often, but I do read the threads.

I suppose because we have female plumbing, we are expected to toe the "lots of women" line. I never got the memo. Or maybe I did, and I flung it into recycling. I prefer to keep my sense of humor. It makes life so much more pleasant.

I stated that because some people have mistaken me for a man because of my user name and I wanted to make it clear that I am a woman and I found the ad funny.

Now it's wrong to state your gender when posting? Is that another rule on your list that I'm unaware of?

Seriously, what is the issue? Do you think I'm lying? Are women not supposed to say they are a woman?

I seriously don't know, so please enlighten me.
