I'm trying to figure something out about Youtube, and their "standards."

Namely, do they have any?

Obviously, no porn.
Yet nudity does show up in some Youtube videos.

And there is lots of gore in some of the videos, including real killings.

types, but some of the political videos i try to watch get pulled, never figured out why.

That's probably the easiest way to get your video taken down. Other than that and a few technical things about ads (you can't use your own ad system in a way that interferes with theirs), the terms of service are fairly nebulous: they'll take down off their servers whatever they don't want on their, ultimately.
