Perfect example of why I almost never go to the Huffiington Post anymore.

Check out the comment I included at the end. RW trolls took over the site and notice how the mods let this through.

Millburn, New Jersey, Home Invasion Captured On Nanny Cam; Suspect On The Run (VIDEO)

MIllburn Home Invasion Video
The suspect in a home invasion assaults a woman while her daughter sits on the couch.
Police in New Jersey are using nanny cam footage to track down a robbery suspect who punched and choked a suburban mom while her terrified 3-year-old daughter watched.

At 10:30 a.m. Friday, the suspect kicked down the locked door of a Millburn, N.J., house and assaulted an unsuspecting homeowner.
"I knew that if I started screaming, my daughter would too, and I was afraid she would get hurt," the victim told News12 N.J. "I took it. I didn't cry the entire time."
The suspect made off with an unspecified amount of jewelry, including the woman's wedding ring, according to WABC. The woman's 1-year-old daughter was upstairs during the incident. Neither child was harmed.
"The man viciously beat the woman," Capt. Michael Palardy told Millburn Patch.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where she was treated for injuries to her face and legs, according to The Star-Ledger.
The suspect is a black male, 5 feet 11 inches tall, and weighs around 210 lbs. He possibly has a salt-and-pepper beard.

Imagine how nice this country would be if we had returned the slaves back to Africa after freeing them. Blacks need a few million years more evolution before they will be capable of living in a civilized society. They just can't be domesticated in large numbers yet, they are still very feral beings. Go to any area of the globe where blacks live in large numbers and you have constant violence. It's time we have an honest discussion on race and try to solve the issues that it causes. Sadly it is not politically correct to discuss the statistics.

Just substitute "Republicans" for "blacks" and "slaves"; "their caves" for "Africa"; "exposing" for "freeing"; and "right wing politics" for "race".

So it becomes:

Imagine how nice this country would be if we had returned the Republicans back to their caves after exposing them. Republicans need a few million years more evolution before they will be capable of living in a civilized society. They just can't be domesticated in large numbers yet, they are still very feral beings. Go to any area of the globe where Republicans live in large numbers and you have constant violence. It's time we have an honest discussion on right wing politics and try to solve the issues that it causes. Sadly it is not politically correct to discuss the statistics.

Works for me.

was a home page post about African children being challenged to reach a bowl of fruit. But instead of competing, they joined hands and shared the reward. "Ubuntu" which means "I am because we are."

Seems much more civilized and evolved than snark.

They can't be held responsible for what is posted in comments. That is silly. Probably a mistake was made and it slipped through. These things happen often on the internet.

Sometimes they have good articles too. And I liked how Ariana recently spoke against the national survellience state in her editorials.

It's a very "busy" site that gives even my fairly fast computer a workout. With its layout, I'm finding I have to keep clicking on various parts of an item to get the full story.

It's the only purpose-built news site I visit though. Everything else is blogs, sites like DU, Daily Kos and the like.

So what if troll has 251 fans? That is hardly a significant sample of the HuffPo readership.

Frankly, I think that post mistakenly got through the HuffPo monitors. Normally they promptly remove any comment that rises to that level of noxiousness.

I have found it to be more the rule than the exception. After AOL it got even worse. The last straw for me was a gun rights fool advocating (repeatedly) that he wanted another Newtown after we (CT) passed our own gun responsibility laws. The posts were never removed after alerts by many. YMMV.
