VP Biden: VRA Ruling Has ‘Upset A Well Established Practice
Vice President Joe Biden said he was disappointed in the Supreme Court's decision Tuesday that striked down a key provision of the 1965 Voting Rights Act, saying the ruling has "upset a well established practice."
"The administration will do everything in our power to ensure that fair and equal voting practices are maintained," he said during a speech on the miniumum wage at the White House. "There is a lot of work to be done."

Vice President Biden also voiced disappointment with the high court ruling, saying that "voting is a fundamental right" and "voting discrimination still exists."
Speaking at a White House event on raising the minimum wage, Biden said "we're going to work with Congress" on revamping the Voting Rights Act.
