Snowden Schmoden. Don't let them make this about the Messenger...that convolutes the MESSAGE

The corporate owned media is pulling a bait and switch right before our eyes, and it's fucking sad. It's almost as sad as when Ralph Nader helped George W Bush steal the White House in 2000. Just venting

kept his head down, and remained anonymous, we'd be probably be talking about the shit he "claimed" to care about. If people here think that the "corporate owned media" isn't going to dredge up every bit of news they can on this guy, they're sadly mistaken. Whether we think it was noble or not, he did this to himself.

His fanbase don't want us to discuss his choices of China, Russia, Cuba, and possibly Ecuador as "safe havens". They want the rage to remain focused on the government. That was never going to happen. Greenwald rolled this thing out like a blockbuster movie, and now we're interested in the players. It's human nature.

One glance at the comments tells you the trolls are now very concerned with privacy and the 4th amendment! Along the way they make sure to trash Obama.

ps: I think what I hate about Snowden most is that he gave Julian ASSange an excuse to be on my damned teevee again.

When you tell them that they are missing the point buying into the witch hunt of Snowden to avoid the issue of the Constitutional crisis at hand, they respond with posts about Snowden.

Are these serious posts? This many people here can't be so off the mark, right?

(Right?)

and the *immediate* defensive swarm by the authoritarian brigade underscores that.

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

The propaganda machine wants the focus on anything but the actual spying and our Constitution.
