It's time for a Citizen Voting Act.

It is my opinion that voting should be mandatory for all citizens, the same as jury duty, with exceptions for disability. Failure to register and vote, without a valid excuse, should result in a $200 fine. Election Day should be on a weekend and a federal holiday. Early voting and voting by mail should be available in all states. Anyone who prevents someone from voting by any means should be fined $10,000.

Mandatory voting would eliminate any discrimination and save a lot of money on GOTV efforts.
