Snowden blackout

Has anyone noticed the MSM hasn't hardly mentioned Snowden today? I've heard that Putin refused to send him back and that he's still at the Moscow airport. I've heard it once and only once. Checking all channels, no one is talking about him. Hmmmmmmmm, what is going on...

I feel like I'm in a room full of 13 year old girls waiting on Justin Bieber, with all the Snowden adulation and swooning.

Will Snowden's secret NSA documents prove, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that the NSA keeps electronic files on criminals?

Time will tell if this rumor has any legs or not.

because it is important to selecting the very legislators who need to sort out this Patriot Act/FISA mess in the future unless you are counting on the current good ole boys' club there now.

The Constitution says that voting shall be left to the states & Congress. But you know the current state of the court. If you want Patriot Act/FiSA changes you need to make sure a judge retires before it's challenged. There's no way these 5 neo-cons won't uphold anything to do with security.

FWIW I posted a video from the old comedy show "In Living Color" titled Clarence Thomas' First Day. At least you'll get a laugh. It's in general discussion.

the US acted deaf, illiterate or just plain stupid by reiterating their request as though Putin had said nothing earlier today:

White House National Security Council spokeswoman Caitlin Hayden said the legal bases for expelling Snowden are the status of his travel documents and the pending charges against him.

"Accordingly, we are asking the Russian government to take action to expel Mr Snowden without delay and to build upon the strong law enforcement cooperation we have had, particularly since the Boston Marathon bombing," she said.

Those are just the 3 source stories for DU's LBN Snowden threads today. Given that he hasn't actually done anything today, I'd say there's plenty of coverage.

Of course, there have been major Supreme Court decisions released, and a major speech with new climate change policies from Obama. So, by putting those above the 'Snowden did nothing today' stories, the MSM is actually doing its job for once, by reporting important new developments. Astounding as it seems, that is what is going on ...
