We Are Still Feeling The Effects Of Dubya's Administration.....

in fact it's almost like he is more successful in getting things done now than when he was President.

I keep asking myself - if what the Repugs are doing to Obama and the Dems - the Dems were doing to the Repugs.

What would the Repugs do in that situation? How would they handle it?

And you've seen what Democrats will do in the face of Republican bullying. They'll do as Republicans used to do and carry on Reagan's legacy.

The Democrats can't do what the Republicans do, for several reasons. First, they don't want to, many of the democrats agree with Reaganite policies. Two, if they actually did care about workers and the common people the corporate media would kill them for it, the corporate line must be pushed at all costs and the hard liner republicans do that. So any obstruction on behalf of the People would be framed much differently than what is being pushed now. Three, the few that aren't bought are willing to compromise because they actually want to govern rather than win political games.

It just wouldn't happen.
