Our fire season started two months early. We have had three major fires in SoCal alone. Cal Fire is 1000+ fire responses ahead of schedule and we expect this season to be epic.

5. To be clear - my weather has been generally in the normal range even though we

flipped from a cool Spring to a hot Spring and back a couple times. I keep seeing warnings for other sections of the country and was wondering how things are playing out.

7. Been raining for 2 days in NoCal. In JUNE. Never happens, seriously - drought season

One was weird. Two days is really strange. It rarely rains in the summer here, and when it happens, it's not for two days.

As it is, we're having an interesting fire season because a kink in the jet stream is cutting off the monsoonal flow up from Mexico.
