Gomez might get in the way Snott Brown did. Brown was unable to hang onto the seat and Gomez will follow him out of office, especially since he is 10 times the nightmare Brown was.

The tragedy will be if Markey doesn't run against him again.

The small counties will report first and they will tend to be more rural and Republican.

When the results from the more highly populated areas start coming in, the lead is going to go to Markey.

Update in 2 seconds 38% of precincts reporting
Markey 227,357 49.9%

Gomez 226,829 49.7%

Polls closed at 8 p.m. EDT

state. The angry crowd can't face up to the middle and left in high turnout elections, but they live for low turnout elections. Moderate and liberal voters need to take those people seriously and show up to vote.
