(154,021 posts)But n my experience the party is top down (like the republicans) and focuses almost exclusively on the Presidency as the savor of all ( unlike the Republicans, who also care for things like school boards, city councils, hell dog catcher where it exists).
Now if what I am hearing locally is more than anecdotal...will see...republicans and democrats will give up on federal elections. Meaning...if the anecdotal anger is more than my personal focus group, we will see more democrats voting in special elections...the quadrennial exercise, not so much.
It has to do with the NSA.
