Obama had just been elected (absolute elation--before we knew he was going to rule as a Republican) followed by absolute demoralization after hearing Proposition H8 passed in my beloved state.

We've waited a LONG time for this day. If SCOTUS makes the wrong decision again today, honest to goddess we need to take to the streets.
