Grover Norquist --------- What is he afraid of??

Grover Norquist goes around the country signing up politicians to sign a pledge stating they will not raise taxes.

I feel there should be a huge cry for Grover to release his tax returns. He should not be afraid to do this.
What does he have to hide?? If he can ask people to sign his pledge he should have the guts to release his tax returns so everyone can see how this effects him.

What is his real tax rate??

Come on Grover, release your tax returns!!

1. He's a lobbyist, don't know if that's a requirement or not. I do know he's invested in that

pipeline and if Boner does nothing else to pay his dues to Norquist, it would be to get that god-awful pipeline bill passed.

5. Do you have more info on Grover and the pipeline?

The pipeline makes no sense at all for the US, so i figured someone was making a bundle on it!

19. This was the first Google I found on it but there's a lot..

Grover Norquist - Lobbyist for the Keystone XL Pipeline
I heard this on the Thomm Hartman show while I was driving home from work tonight and wanted to see where else this was reported. This is not easy to find but it was reported November 14, 2011 in the NY Times.

Mr. Norquist says he is all about taxes, but he has a sideline of lobbying activities that donít always show antitax purity. They include lobbying the State Department for the controversial Keystone XL pipeline and the Pentagon on spending proposals, and opposing Internet regulations designed to fight child pornography, according to Politico. He considers his lobbying activities to be small-government

6. I don't feel lobbyists have the right to

have politicians sign a pledge.
Sounds like it violates their Oath of Office

As long as he feels not raising taxes is so important then I feel he should release his tax returns for the last ten years

Put his money where his mouth is.

Come clean Grover!!

3. GOP: Party of Personal Responsibility?

So much for the party of "personal responsibility". They are forced to sign a petition like a bunch of submissive monkeys. They have no opinion of their own.

10. If Grover is afraid, it's a good thing

He's seeing the possibility of all he's lied and cheated for slipping away on a rising tide of economic justice. It's wonderful seeing him dragged into daylight, blinking and snapping at fingers like the Koch Bros. own Punksayawney Phil.

21. Norquist is not so afraid of taxes as he is committed to small government. That is he does not want

government that can regulate business in any way. The tax thing is merely the means of drowning the baby in the bathtub. And as you can see when you look at what has happened in California he just about drowned them. May still do it.
