A time to celebrate with the parts of our Dem COALITION & to recommit to the other parts: SOLIDARITY

There are a couple of threads that add up the state of things for our Dem COALITION: "DOMA gone. DADT gone. Iraq War gone. Universal Health Care - coming soon, Economy - coming back" and "No President Has Ever Been Better To Gay People. Thank You President Obama".


Members of our COALITION have made great strides (going back to ‘93). Others have not (Hispanics, Blacks, women, unions). I don’t begrudge the uneven progress, but alongside the celebration must come recommitment to VRA and the rest of our agenda.
