How will the Supreme Court decision on DOMA affect the military?

Now that DOMA has been repealed does that mean the same sex spouse of a military member automatically receive all the benefits granted to the spouses of traditional marriage (sorry if this is an unacceptable term) or will there have to be changes to the existing regulations or a lawsuit to get them the base privileges that they deserve?

Although I do think it will take a bit of time to rewrite the regulations to comply with the law.

On the issue of states that don't allow same sex marriage, I can see an instant lawsuit if they try to play that game.

It's going to be interesting to see the fallout from this decision, I live less that 3 miles from the campus of Regent University and the broadcast studio of the 700 Club.
