That would have bought a lot of food stamps or medical care or infrastructure improvements. I understand that Republicans are total hypocrites when it comes to all their deficit talk, but have any Democrats spoken out about this boondoggle?
I'm starting to think that damn near everything in this country is a fucking racket.

(14,459 posts)The other place it's being flushed is at the CIA and NSA where they use money that could bring us all healthcare, food and green jobs to spy on us and develop weapons that will be used to fight us(crowd control).
This is going to kill a lot of us in the end, I have a feeling.

(154,021 posts)Go on to the outskirts of Hawaii... there are places that the local sea life has taken over, with M-4 Shermans and M-3 Halftracks. They were just thrown out from the end of transport ships. It was cheaper than getting them back stateside.

That's 70,000 college educations, and we get a lot more out of those than piles of rusting junk.
