good Christians who supposedly "love the sinner but hate the sin" giving their good wishes and congratulations to all the newly married gays. Isn't that what "love" means??

(40,416 posts)It's just that DU isn't the GOP where attendance is limited to loony, crazy Christians.
I am an atheist and I wholeheartedly stand next to my LGBT brethren in cheering what's happened. As do my Christian DU friends, I am sure. They just feel no obligation to scream out, "by the way, I am Christian" here anymore people feel obligated to scream out "I'm LGBT!" here.
It's always a choice here. And god help us all if it ever wasn't that way.

I know we probably don't have a lot of those on DU, but we probably have a number of low-post-count types who are that exact sort of "christian".
