Since motivation is in question, why I think what I do about the Zimmerman trial

What really irritates me, more than reasonably should on a discussion board, is the number of people who claim to have psychic insight into Zimmerman's soul and know his motivation for being out that night while faulting Zimmerman for thinking he had the exact same insight into Martin's.

That said, I'm clearly irritating a lot of posters I like, so I'm going to stay off this subject for a while.

When you go, please take all these n00bs who apparently have signed up for the sole purpose of providing cover for George Zimmerman with you - and, yeah, I don't need psychic fucking insight to see through these transparent trolls.

because he applied to the force but kept getting turned down. He tried to get a job as an armed security guard and was turned down. He volunteered for parking lot patrol and neighborhood watch because they couldn't turn him down and it was the only thing on the cop spectrum he could do.

His calls to 911 show his mindset about "those f-ing ______ that always get away" and that "he was going to stop it".

I don't know the mindset of a kid who gets Skittles and Fruit juice and walks home.

Zim had prepped for an encounter. Martin, notsomuch.

And he shot an unarmed teenager. Doesn't matter what was in his bigoted, sick mind beyond that.

They are basing their views on Zimmerman's own words about the "fucking punks" who "always get away". Stop defending a child murderer.

The Quote That Should End the Trayvon Trial
George Zimmerman is going to be found guilty. All the evidence you need — all the evidence the cops needed — is right there in the interrogation they did with him three days after the shooting. The only thing more shocking than what Zimmerman says in the clip, which was released on the internet one year ago, is how little it has impressed the bloviating jerks who dominate the coverage of this trial.

Why did he follow Martin, a police officer asks.

“These assholes, they always get away,” Zimmerman answers.

The officer asks, “What’s behind that?”

“These people who victimize the neighborhood,” Zimmerman answers.

In an interview with police he referred to Martin as "These Assholes."
He referred to martin as “Punks,”

Please note, when talking about Martin, he wasn't an individual, he was one of those "Assholes," those "punks" who always get away with it. What did he base that on, a black kid walking through the streets at night.

What does that say to you about Zimmerman's motivation?

If you have read up anything on Zimmerman's background and the complaints he's received for harassing Islamic co-workers, getting DV complaints, being a pain in the ass neighborhood snoop who makes phone calls to 911 all the time, several of them citing his observations of black men in the neighborhood...doing something to bug Zimmerman.

I don't know, how big of a crystal ball is it one needs to draw a line from that to a guy who shoots a black kid and have to wonder, gee who was George Zimmerman and how did this poor man get into this situation?

I like you too, but you are being kind of irritating along some others because the context is being totally ignored and the entire situation is being considered like it was isolated in time, like a slice fell out of the continuum.
