Sunday Talk Shows: Rachel Maddow, Sen. Wendy Davis,Nancy Pelosi, ...

Sen. Davis on NBC, ABC, and CBS
Sen. Schumer, Luis Gutierrez
David Boies and Ted Olsen

NBC's ''Meet the Press''
The House prepares to take up immigration reform after the Senate passed its version this week. Sunday, we’ll talk exclusively with House Democratic Leader Rep. Nancy Pelosi about the prospects for passage as well as what this week’s historic Supreme Court rulings on the Voting Rights Act and Same-sex Marriage mean for the country.

Have the Culture Wars Returned?
This week the Supreme Court rekindled debates at the heart of American politics: civil rights, equality, and the powers of the federal government. Sunday, we’ll talk about the role of the Court and discuss whether these debates, as well as clashes over abortion rights and immigration, signify a return of the culture wars. We’ll break it all down with our roundtable: MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow; chairman of the Faith and Freedom Coalition, Ralph Reed; author and professor at Georgetown University, Michael Eric Dyson; President of the Heritage Foundation, Fmr. Sen. Jim DeMint; and NBC’s Pete Williams

Congressman Tim Huelskamp (R-KS) announced this week that he will file a constitutional amendment to restore the Defense of Marriage Act. Will it gain any traction on the Hill? We’ll talk with Rep. Huelskamp Sunday

Texas State Senator Wendy Davis made headlines this week with a nearly 11 hour filibuster against a bill that would tighten abortion laws in the Lone Star State. She won round one, but the fight is far from over. And now – it’s gotten personal. Senator Davis joins us Sunday

CBS' ''Face the Nation''
The Supreme Court handed down two landmark rulings on same-sex marriage this week, invalidating a key provision of the federal Defense of Marriage Act and clearing the way for gay weddings to resume in California. We'll sit down with former solicitor general Ted Olson, the conservative lawyer who successfully argued against Proposition 8, the California ballot measure that banned same sex-marriage in 2008. Olson once worked for Presidents Ronald Reagan and George W. Bush, but he now sides with the folks who want to strike down these laws against same-sex marriage.

We also learned overnight that James Cartwright, a former top general and personal favorite of President Barack Obama, is the target of an investigation into who leaked classified information about U.S. cyberattacks against Iranian nuclear facilities. The National Security Agency is back in the spotlight and we will talk with former NSA director Gen. Michael Hayden to break it all down on Sunday.

Tony Perkins-The president of the Family Research Council has been an ardent opponent of same-sex marriage. What does the Supreme Court's decision mean for defining marriage in the future?

Finally, we'll chat with a rising star from my home state of Texas - we even share an alma mater as graduates of Texas Christian University. State Sen. Wendy Davis, who caused a stir earlier this week when she made an 11-hour filibuster against a restrictive abortion bill, will be on the show. Her stand for abortion rights stopped the bill, but Texas Gov. Rick Perry has already called another special session of the legislature to deal with the controversial measure. She'll weigh in on the upcoming fight.

ABC's ''This Week''
In an ABC News exclusive, George Stephanopoulos goes one-on-one with WikiLeaks founder and international man of mystery Julian Assange, who has been hiding out in London’s Ecuadorean embassy after fallout from his website’s publication of a trove of classified U.S. material in 2010.

This Sunday only on “This Week,” Assange speaks out on the latest on Edward Snowden’s run from the law after his blockbuster leaks on the NSA’s secret surveillance programs. How has Assange and WikiLeaks aided Snowden as he seeks safe passage from Russia? Should Snowden and WikiLeaks’ partners be considered whistle-blowers or law-breakers? And what is the future of WikiLeaks as its controversial efforts remain under scrutiny around the world?

Plus, following this week’s historic Supreme Court decisions on the Defense of Marriage Act and California’s Proposition 8, Human Rights Campaign President Chad Griffin and National Organization for Marriage President Brian Brown come to “This Week” to debate the future of same-sex marriage in the U.S.

The powerhouse roundtable also weighs in on those landmark decisions and tackles all the week’s politics, including the next steps in the battle over immigration reform, with ABC News Political Analyst and Special Correspondent Matthew Dowd; ABC News Anchor and Chief Foreign Correspondent Terry Moran, who covers the Supreme Court for ABC News; Rep. Donna F. Edwards, D-Md.; and Wall Street Journal columnist Peggy Noonan.

Plus, Texas State Sen. Wendy Davis reflects on her epic filibuster that drew national headlines and her fifteen minutes of fame.

CNN's ''State of the Union''-
Two victories for same-sex marriage this week. The Supreme Court strikes down key parts of the Defense of Marriage Act and dismisses the appeal of California’s Prop 8, clearing the way for same-sex marriages in that state to resume. David Boies, co-counsel in the Supreme Court case against Proposition 8, says in the next five years "our goal is to have marriage equality throughout the country”. We'll also talk to John Eastman, Chairman of the National Organization for Marriage who despite the Supreme Court ruling has said he will keep fighting. We’ll talk to both of them this Sunday.

Then, the Senate passes immigration reform with bi-partisan support, but House Speaker Boehner says it’s dead on arrival in the House. “We're going to do our own bill through regular order, and it'll be legislation that reflects the will of our majority and the will of the American people.” We’ll talk to two key congressmen in the House immigration debate: House Judiciary Committee Chair Bob Goodlatte (R-VA) and Chairman of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus’ Immigration Task Force Luis Gutierrez (D-IL).

Plus, the politics of the Supreme Court rulings. And a filibuster stalls a Texas abortion bill, but the fight is far from over as Governor Rick Perry calls for a special session. Our panel with New York Times Magazine Chief Political Correspondent Matt Bai:, The Root Contributing Editor Corey Dade; Fmr. Sen. George Allen (R-VA) and democratic strategist Hilary Rosen.

''Fox News Sunday''
The Senate is on the cusp of passing comprehensive immigration reform that would offer citizenship to millions in the U.S. and spend billions to secure the border. We’ll also discuss the NSA leak, U.S. involvement in Syria and other news of the week with Gang of 8 members Senators John McCain and Charles Schumer

The future of immigration reform in the House is less certain. We’ll discuss the prospects of a deal with Congressman Mario Diaz-Balart – a member of the bipartisan group working on the House version of the bill. As well as with Congressman Trey Gowdy -- chairman of the Judiciary Committee’s subcommittee on Immigration.

Melissa Harris-Perry
On Sunday’s Melissa Harris-Perry, our host and panel will chronicle Mandela’s political legacy and the links between the two leaders from being the first black presidents of their respective countries to the interconnected civil rights movements in America and South Africa.

Our conversation on the African economy continues as we add China into the mix. Our panel will explore the reasons powerful countries like China are investing in one of the globe’s fastest growing economies and how the US plans to join them.

With all of the political excitement this week, you may have missed the comprehensive climate speech President Obama delivered at Georgetown University on Tuesday. Sunday’s show will catch you up with our panel of climate experts, including Josh Fox, the director of Gasland and the upcoming Gasland 2, and the Center for American Progress’s Danielle Moodie-Mills. They will discuss President Obama’s new plan to reduce greenhouse emissions and battle the effects of climate change domestically and internationally as well as the president’s unexpected comments on the controversial Keystone Pipeline.

We will also be bringing you the latest on the George Zimmerman trial and get into who Melissa thinks was really on trial this past week in Florida.

Next week, #nerdland is heading to New Orleans for the 2013 Essence Festival! We will have all the details for you as well as information for the free onsite MSNBC health clinic.
