How Do You Usually Browse on DU?

There are many ways that DUers browse on DU to find posts of interest to them. It would be interesting to see what percentage of DUers use a particular browsing method most of the time. So, your vote in this poll should indicate how you browse DU most of the time, or your favorite method of browsing DU. Any comments would also be informative. If I miss a method, please vote for Other and tell us about it.

1. I spend most of my time browsing the GD post list.

2. I answer any PM's first, and then I look at My Posts...

Then I peruse the Lounge and GD.

That's pretty much it!

3. Latest Threads

I've always browsed Latest Threads, sorted by 'Latest'. That way, I don't miss anything, even threads started in the more 'obscure' forums.

to PMs, first. Then, go to My Posts (and respond). Then, go to the Home Page. Then, go to Forums & Groups. Final Latest Threads.

I don't always comment on those threads - but History of Feminism (as an example) provides so much great information. Just because I'm silent - doesn't mean I'm not there.

9. I use the Main forum links on the left.

I start with W&H and work my way down - usually clicking on GD last, since it will have the most unread posts.

I'll check my Subscriptions tab after that.

By then, there are more unread posts in the Main forums list on the left, so I start over.

I never use the DU home page or Greatest, and only occasionally check the Latest page.
