Nearly 0 coverage of the President's very important foreign policy speech in South Africa this

morning.

Apparently our great savior, the leaky press, has not gotten it's clearance on what to say about that from the uber corporate persons who could also be in charge of what "the Left" (Ha!!!) gets to say too. And if you think that isn't true, try going around some Bradley Manning "activists" and saying anything against corporate persons.

since the weather channel was the only one that aired his speech on climate change.

Our oh so stellar media is embedded with the elephant in the room! Zipped lips until someone turns on the faucet....drip drip.

CAPE TOWN - US President Barack Obama said the legacy of struggle veterans like former president Nelson Mandela should challenge young South African leaders for change.
Obama was addressing young people at the University of Cape Town on Sunday evening.

The US president is currently on a three-nation African tour and his visit to Africa is to promote a change in the relationship between the continent and the US.

Obama said the lives of our former leaders should inspire the youth of today.

“Like Mandela’s life, like Kennedy’s life, like Gandhi’s life, like the life all those who fought to bring about a new South Africa or a more just America.

“They stand as a challenge to me, but more importantly, they stand as a challenge to your generation.”

The president's address at the University of Cape Town capped an emotionally charged day in this picturesque coastal city, including a solemn visit to the Robben Island prison where Mandela was confined for 18 of his 27 years in captivity. Obama stood stoically with his family in Mandela's cramped cell and peered across the lime quarry where Mandela toiled each day, causing the damage to his lungs that led to his latest hospital stint.

"Nelson Mandela showed us that one man's courage can move the world," Obama said during his evening speech at the university. He was flanked by a diverse array of students, underscoring Mandela's vision for a unified "rainbow nation" for the country once led by a white racist government.

Obama's address came nearly 50 years after Robert F. Kennedy delivered his famous speech at the same university. Kennedy's speech, delivered soon after Mandela was sentenced to life in prison, called on young people to launch a fight against injustice, creating ripples of hope that would "build a current which can sweep down the mightiest walls of oppression and resistance."

Much has changed in South Africa since Kennedy addressed the nation. The apartheid regime crumbled under intense internal and external pressure. Mandela was elected as his country's first black president following his release from prison. And South Africa has rapidly become continent's economic and political powerhouse.

There is a YouTube channel where we can see this kind of things. It is not right that we have to look up this kind of news, but that is what happens when the Sales Dept. gets to run amuck in the newsrooms.
