Look, Zimmerman made a mistake

Let's face it, he made a mistake. He mistook Trayvon Martin for a neighborhood prowler. He mistook Trayvon's self-defensive behavior as aggressive towards him. He mistook whether his fired shot landed in Mr. Martin's body. He mistook that Trayvon died from the gunshot wound.

Mr. Zimmerman made a lot of mistakes. And those were just on the night of the incident.

Mr. Martin has already paid the ultimate price for Mr. Zimmerman's mistakes.

Now it is time for Mr. Zimmerman to pay the price for his own mistakes.

I hope the jury errs on the side of making Zimmerman at least partially if not wholly responsible for his actions, even if they were mistakes.

If any more mistakes must be made, I hope they are made in such a way that Zimmerman has to deal with the consequences of his actions.

He profiled a 17 yoa child and then stalked him and killed him.

It's a possibly that Z had his gun out before the "fight" started and that it was Trayvon screaming for his life. I just wish someone would have come to his aid before Z purposely shot him.

Why, he told Sean Hannity that very thing. He had no regrets and even knowing today what he knows, would not do anything differently.

Yes, he does not think he made a mistake.

I, however, think he made a mistake.

. there were no bruises or scrapes on trayvon's hands according to the corroner.
i would bet that z had someone punch him in the face a few times so he could
get pictures.

none of z's blood was on trayvon.

i think the cops helped him set up a defense case.

and i am also highly suspect of the prosecution. they have missed important facts
all over the place. primarily that z's claim is that his gun was holsterd behind his right
hip which means with his arms pinned and being beaten, he would not have been able
to get to his gun. the whole scenario that martin was beating up z is a fabrication.

we wouldn't be having this conversation.

He would have shoved that Gun up his ass ... after getting it kicked.

Does being from Chicago make you a bad ass or bullet proof or something?? Or are you implying that Chicago is so chocked full of thugs and a-holes that one better know how deal with someone shooting at you because you are far more likely to get shot in Chicago than you are Florida??

7. He made a choice

and that choice was based on paranoia, profiling and "wannabe cop syndrome."

I agree with you that it's time for Mr. Zimmerman to pay for his crime.

no mistakes. the bad choice that cost Martin his life was getting out of the car and pursuing Martin, after being told not to do so. and he should be held accountable by spending at least 25 years in prison.

This law enables mistakes like Zimmerman to make deadly mistakes and it is polarizing a country .
